  7. Diesel just passed away and you already want to replace for making money. Please give some time for mourning. He was a beautiful dog. John Reardon must be crying over Diesel he worked with him for approximately seven years. He is going through alot. Many may not watch the show for awhile mourning the loss. I never knew him but cried alot. Watched the show from the beginning.

  8. I’ve lost two pugs in the span of 9 years. I am a strong believer in the heart of God. He blessed us with animals , he feels our tears when they pass. Though it’s not actually written in scripture, but wouldn’t be like heart of Jesus to raise our beloved animals on the glorious day. As it’s written ” on earth and it is on heaven “

    1. Hello Mr. Ryan,
I have been researching about do animals go to heaven? Several scholars cannot come to a definite answer. Well, maybe we’ll never know until we get up there. I’ll have several dogs, fish, newts, birds. we treat our pets/ animals with kindness; we were “originally” were take care of what the Lord God created.

      1. My daughter lost her chocolate brown, lab and a year later my husband passed and she said to him that the dog is waiting dor him to show him the way.
A year later a woman asks me if she can talk to me. I’ve no idea who she was and she says, your husband passed and he says he loves you and misses you. I thought, really??? And she says i see him with a dog. Did you have a dog? I said yes 30 years ago an old english sheepdog. And she says oh no, this one is a big brown dog. Got goosebumps because the lab was nuts about him. I conclude, yes dogs go to heaven. And I’ve never seen the woman again.

  9. Sherri, deepest condolences to you and the entire staff of The Hudson and Rex show. He captured everyone’s heart. I did not watch TV until my sister insisted I watch the show because of Rex. Never missed an episode after that.
His superior intelligence was incredible and you certainly helped him to show it off.
Sherri I know he was your soul- mate. You were very lucky to have him.
    I loved him!

  10. I was sorry to hear that Diesel/Rex had passed. I’m sorry bout your loss. I liked the show and they way Rex would turn his head trying to figure things out. He showed great sympathy, and compassion. Man’s Best Friend.

I live in the States, so I don’t get first broadcasts. I watch on Uptv Faith and Family on Roku app.
John Reardon is a good actor. I’ll be praying for the production and that it will be just as successful as the first 6 years.

  11. I watched the show on Saturday and Mondays. I’m going to miss Rex. I loved to see him go and get the bad guy especially when he had to jump. I would say go get him Rex you go get him. “RIP REX.”

  12. Broke my heart to hear of Diesel’s death. He got me hooked on the show. What a star. What a handsome dude. What a good boy. RIP

  13. I lost my four legged son on August 22 of seventeen years I loved him with all my heart will miss him always loved watching diesel made me not so sad now I mourn for diesel as well so sorry for our loss.

  14. Diesel was perfect. There should be a special award just for him alone. He will forever be missed. May he R.I.P.
Hope the show continues. It is going to be extremely difficult to maintain the same standards as set by Diesel.
    Sherri, thank you

  15. You will be missed very much. I love Hudson and Rex. RIP I am a big animal lover my ?? is broken may God bless you all

  16. Rest in peace diesel you are a wonderful German Shepard love Hudson and rex show we both watched every episode you’ll be very well missed by us and the world love you rex.

  17. RIP Rex(Diesel). You are now pain free as you crossed the Rainbow Bridge. You will not be forgotten. Thank you !!!

  18. I read on IMDb that he actually died in August 2024. The proof to me of how irreplaceable he is is how I’ve been saying to my hubby when we’re watching the show that Rex doesn’t seem to be Rex. There was just something different. It was also odd that right from the start of Season 7, he was referred to in the credits as “Rex” rather than “Diesel vom Burgimwald.”

It feels like the production was trying to avoid telling fans. I wish they’d been honest and more respectful to Diesel. It’s so sad. What a great and special doggie.

  19. I cried when I heard of your passing dear Rex ???? You were beyond perfect as Charlie Hudson’s K9 partner. You made the show so popular here in Canada and in other parts of the world. BRAVO ???? Since 2019, I have always prayed that you and your team could come to the CNE EX as an opener of the Super Dogs Show in Toronto. Sadly it did not happen. It’s OK Rex. I have your 2019 postcard that was being given to the Super Dogs Show watchers before each show starts during that time. My souvenir to cherish forever. I will offer mass/es for you at St Paul’s Basilica Toronto where I also sing with the choir. Shine your brightest star to all your puppy friends and to all of us, your fans ?? We love you Rex ??

  20. Rest in peace, Diesel. You will always live on in all our hearts and memories. Run and romp free in restored health through the beautiful fields and meadows of Heaven, and know you will always be loved.
