image002In season 1, The Best Years introduced foster kid SAMANTHA BEST (Charity Shea) as she jumped into her first year at Charles University, and dealt with all the challenges of finding her feet, making friends, falling in love and breaking up, and discovering a family she never knew she had. Along the way, we met her best friends KATHRYN KLARNER (Jennifer Miller) and NOAH JENSEN (Randal Edwards) and other great characters who rounded out the ensemble and kept Sam afloat through her tumultuous freshman year. The season ended as Sam drove off to LA for her winter break, excited about the prospect of adventure.

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A CANADIAN 5TH GRADER

Friday, March 20 – 8pm ET/PT

Colin Mochrie, the famed comedian and actor from Canada, hosts this five-episode special. Based on the US primetime game show hit, ordinary Canadians try their luck at a series of questions targeted at the fifth-grade level. In the first episode, contestants include Ian, a lawyer from Ottawa, and April, a marketing coordinator from Sudbury.

CTV Invites Canada to Say Goodbye to CORNER GAS: “Pump Out a Poster Contest” Marks Series Finale, April 13

  • Grand Prize winner has their artwork immortalized in a commemorative poster and receives $3,500 in prizes
  • Creator and star Brent Butt leads poster jury
  • The count down continues with only five episodes left

As the series finale of CORNER GAS approaches on April 13, CTV gives fans the opportunity to say goodbye to Canada’s #1 original comedy series in their own unique way. The “Corner Gas Pump Out a Poster Contest” allows viewers to express their feelings visually about the end of the Corner Gas era and say goodbye at the same time. Starting right now, fans, pop-culture fanatics, design students and artists across the country are invited to start working on their artistic rendering celebrating CORNER GAS. Entries can be submitted from Monday, March 23 through Thursday, April 2 at CTV.ca. Details about the top-secret CORNER GAS series finale will be announced soon.
