Murdoch Mysteries returns March 4

Explore the intriguing world of William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson), a handsome young detective using radical forensic techniques in like fingerprinting and trace evidence to solve some of the 1895 Toronto’s most gruesome murders. Though his unconventional ways often elicit ridicule from Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) Murdoch is often the only one who can solve the case. This season, Murdoch comes to terms with the relationship developing between himself and Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy). Investigations take Murdoch out to the Calgary Badlands and to a deserted mining town in British Columbia and Murdoch continues to meet some of the period’s more popular characters like Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley and Harry Houdini.

For 15-year-old Sheldon Blecher (Jesse Camacho), life sucks. He’s overweight, with a self-destructive driving-instructor father (Maury Chaykin), a pyromaniac mother (Wendel Meldrum), and a failed-actor brother (Benjamin Arthur) who won’t get out of Sheldon’s room. The family business, Blecher’s Driving School, is on its way down the toilet and his family lives in Winnipeg! As Sheldon struggles to escape his family, and his family struggles to keep the business running, cars crash, hearts break, blood pressure boils, and corned beef is eaten.

Canada’s #1 original comedy series CORNER GAS commemorates its 100th milestone episode in “TV Free Dog River”, premiering Monday, March 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET, once again rounding off CTV’s two-hour Monday night comedy block. The history making episode kicks off the series’ final victory lap, with seven episodes left until Dog River says good-bye forever. The episode also airs Saturday, March 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network, on demand on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca, and on the go at iTunes.
