In the news: Robson Arms’ post-American Idol episode

From John Doyle of the Globe and Mail, includes mentions of the Rick Mercer Report and This Hour Has 22 Minutes:

  • A quality show that deserves an after-Idol glow

In the news: Leslie Nielsen in Doctor*ology

By Bill Harris of Sun Media:

  • Nielsen adds humour to med series
“More than a quarter-century after his classic role in Airplane!, Leslie Nielsen remains the quintessential comic doctor. The Discovery Channel will show the first five half-hour episodes back-to-back this Friday.”

From Comic Book Resources:

  • NYCC XTRA: “Degrassi: Extra Credit” Panel Report

Several were dressed in homemade shirts featuring iron-on pictures of their favorite stars and carried well-worn scrapbooks packed with magazine articles and personal letters to the characters. One young girl carried a detailed banner decorated with cut-outs, quotes and declarations of love.”
