Only four weeks remain to get your application in to be “Canada’s Next Top Model”! The deadline for the second cycle of CHUM Television’s “Canada’s Next Top Model” ends FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15TH, 2006. Log onto www.citytv.com to download the official application kit.

The nationwide search for “Canada’s Next Top Model” began October 31st, when Citytv invited females between the ages of 18-27 to vie for one of the top prizes in the Canadian modelling industry. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be one of 10 young women who can make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modelling, then don’t miss your opportunity to show us!

Jay Manuel has signed on as Host/Executive Producer of the hugely popular Canadian reality series, based on the phenomenally successful “America’s Next Top Model” franchise. Cycle 2 will hit the airwaves on Citytv in the spring of 2007. The eight-part series will provide dramatic twists and turns as participants compete to master the skills that are essential in the profession. The aspiring models will live together as they learn the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry from leading fashion experts.

Whistler Returns to CTV Nov. 25

Hockey rivalries aren’t the only drama on the ice Saturday nights this winter. With forecasts of snow just around the corner, CTV’s acclaimed primetime soap Whistler returns to the schedule for an encore presentation Saturdays at 10 p.m. ET on CTV (check local listings) starting November 25. It’s the same date skiers and snowboarders hit the slopes for the official opening of the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort’s winter season. Airing in High Definition on CTV HD East/West, the 13-episode, hour-long series will also air Sundays at 4 p.m. ET starting Nov. 26 and is available now on demand on The CTV Broadband Network at CTV.ca.
