In the upcoming eighth season of the award-winning CTV Original Series, Degrassi heads to Hollywood for a special four-episode story arc featuring guests stars Kevin Smith (Clerks) and Jason Mewes (Clerks). Degrassi: The Next Generation premieres Sunday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET, airing back-to-back with Star Wars: The Clone Wars (also premiering Oct. 5) on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

CTV Fall TV Season

CTV announced today premiere dates for the Fall 2008 season, including the greatly-anticipated series premiere of So You Think You Can Dance Canada on Sept. 11, just one day after Canadian Idol’s season finale crowns the next Idol champion on Sept. 10. Before that … Mariah Carey and John Legend appear on Canadian Idol’s final performance episode Sept. 8.

Premiere dates:

  • So You Think You Can Dance Canada NEW, Thurs., Sept. 11 8 p.m., Special two-hour premiere
  • Corner Gas, Mon., Oct. 6, 9:30 p.m., Final Season
  • Degrassi: The Next Generation, Tues., Oct. 7, 8 p.m., One-hour season premiere – moves to Sundays at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12
