Everything about Dragons’ Den, eh?

Dragons’ Den second chance episode airs January 11 on CBC

From a media release:

PAST PITCHERS GET A SECOND CHANCE TO STRIKE A DEAL

  • Dragons’ Den Second Chance Episode Airs January 11, 2012 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT)

Who says you never get a second chance to make a first impression? On Wednesday January 11 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT), a handful of lucky entrepreneurs from past Seasons of DRAGONS’ DEN will get to do just that.

In a special edition of the hit reality show airing Wednesday January 11 at 8 p.m. (8:30 p.m. NT) on CBC Television, seven lucky presenters receive a coveted do-over. Rejected the first time –some made crucial changes, others proved the Dragons wrong – and now they’ll re-pitch their proposals to Canada’s most discerning investors.

Pitchers from past Seasons who left the Den with nothing are determined to convince the Dragons that they’re worth a second glance. For example, Vancouver entrepreneur Joel Primus made a brazen bid on season 4, with only “a prototype and a dream” – now he’s back with national retailers on board – and a new partner.

Other viewer-favourite pitchers return to the Den – even though they originally turned down a deal. New Brunswick’s Olivier Soaps made a dramatic exit from the Den in Season 5 after turning down a double-Dragon deal. But, one year later, they’ve realized that they still need help after all.

Tune in to this all-new special episode of DRAGONS’ DEN to see who is thriving, and who is barely surviving – and if a second chance is all it will take to score a much-needed investment to finally take them to the next level.
