Rick attends celebration festivities at the winning schools in the annual Mercer Report Spread the Net Student Challenge. Highlights include an extreme dodgeball game with students at an elementary school in Quispamsis, New Brunswick, African drumming at a high school in Peterborough, Ontario, and at Montreal’s McGill University Rick drives a ‘Baja’ off-road car on campus.

22 Minutes, CBC – Season finale
Shaun Majumder heads to the Junos as host of ’22 Morning Zoo’ to check in with some award nominees, we travel to Peggy’s Cove to look into the sale of an iconic lighthouse, and – after weeks of trash-talking – Mark Critch brings us the outcome of the Trudeau/Brazeau boxing match.  We also comment on the new federal budget, with Don Cherry (Mark Critch) weighing in on the cuts.

I, Martin Short, Goes Home – CBC
This one-hour special features a star-studded line up of talent including Fred Willard (Modern Family), Eugene Levy (American Pie), Andrea Martin (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Robin Duke (Saturday Night Live), Joe Flaherty (The Second City’s Next Comedy Legend) and CBC’s own George Stroumboulopoulos (George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight).

After debuting to record high audiences this winter season, CBC Television’s winter lineup wraps up next week with several finale episodes.On Monday, it is the season finale of CBC-TV’s funny and fresh new comedy MR. D. The show attracted 1.23 million viewers for its season premiere, making MR. D the most-watched show on a Canadian network in the timeslot. DRAGONS’ DEN, Canada’s top-rated entertainment program, reached 2 in 5 Canadians over the course of this season. Its finale airs on Wednesday, followed by REPUBLIC OF DOYLE, which had its best season yet, with more than 1.3 million viewers for the season premiere. And on Friday, MARKETPLACE wraps up another strong season—it averaged 1.157 million viewers, a 31 per cent increase over last year—while the fifth estate caps a season that featured episodes that garnered the show’s largest audience numbers in more than a decade.

Just For Laughs, CBC – “Modern Love”
A hysterical line-up of comedians with host Eric Stonestreet. The show will explore and tackle every relationship out there. Featuring Bob Marley, Tim Minchin, Debra DiGiovanni, Robert Kelly, Fiona O’Loughlin.

Saw Dogs, OLN – “Masquerave”
A popular hangout in a top ski resort commissions a sensuous sculpture for their annual over-the-top party. The guest carver for the project is Chris Foltz, who is not only an award-winning wood carver, but also an acclaimed ice carver and executive chef. Meanwhile, Steve has embarked a very different project: two nuns from a nearby monastery have asked for a religious themed carving for a new church they are building. The carvers must balance the sacred and the secular, as they deal with tight budgets and short timelines.

Marg Delahunty, Warrior Princess returns to 22 Minutes, paying a visit to RCMP Commissioner, Bob Paulson, while Susan Kent and Meredith MacNeill head to Toronto to try their luck at ‘The Bachelor Canada’ auditions.

Arctic Air, CBC – “The Professional”
Bobby (Adam Beach) and Mel fight to protect Nelson from a hitman.

Saw Dogs, OLN -“Dances with Bears”
The carvers are asked to create a life-size sculpture of an 800-pound polar bear for its owner, a famed animal trainer. Guest carver J. Chester Armstrong is invited to create the likeness of the massive beast from a giant hunk of redwood. Chester, who has a degree in philosophy, seems to communicate directly with the spirit inside the wood. Meanwhile, Pete Rieger secretly carves a raven in exchange for a personal tattoo, much to the displeasure of Saw Valley boss Steve.
