APTN Announces Fall ’07 Programming Line-Up

APTN’s new programming for the fall 2007 season will include:

Mixed Blessings – World Premiere (Comedy series) Launches: Nov. 6/07 @ 9pm ET/PT Mixed Blessings is a dramatic comedy series that explores the lives of a blended family in small town Canada. Hank, a third generation Ukrainian with two teenagers, and Ruby, a Cree woman with four kids, ages 6 to 16, set up house together in a northern Alberta community.

Closer to Home – World Premiere (How-to series) Launches: Nov. 6/07 @ 9:30pm ET/PT This television series takes us onto reserves across Canada to experience housing from a First Nations point of view. Hosted by acclaimed First Nations actor and home builder, Wayne Baker, this series delivers relevant “how-to” advice on a range of housing issues catered to Aboriginal people living on-reserve.

Rabbit Fall – World Premiere (Dramatic series)
Launches: Nov. 9 @ 7:30 pm ET/PT
Police officer Tara Wheaton is assigned the town of Rabbit Fall’s most benign cases, but instinct tells her that the bizarre lurks in the everyday. Her nagging intuition leads her from ordinary crimes into the darkest corners of Rabbit Fall.

Fish out of Water – World Premiere (Comedy series)
Launches: Nov. 9/07 @ 8 pm ET/PT
Ojibway comedian Don Kelly goes to various Aboriginal communities to learn about their cultures and attempts to fit in – often with hilarious consequences.

The Adrenaline Project Rushes into the US

New Canadian show set to air on FOX Saturday mornings this fall

marblemedia is pleased to announce that The Adrenaline Project, their new Canadian television series produced in association with YTV, has been picked up by 4Kids Entertainment Inc. Created by the independent producers, all 13 episodes of the live-action series will air on the 4Kids TV block on FOX Saturday mornings in the US starting September 29, 2007, the same date as the exclusive Canadian broadcast premiere on YTV.

In Production: About a Girl

The N, the nighttime network for teens, takes on its first scripted comedy series, About A Girl. The 13-episode, half-hour series created by writer Adam Tobin and executive produced by Tim O’Donnell (Growing Pains, Clueless and Lizzie McGuire) recently began production in Vancouver, Canada it was announced by Sarah Tomassi Lindman, SVP and GM, The N. About A Girl is produced by Brightlight Pictures in association with Canada’s CanWest MediaWorks and is scheduled to premiere on The N in the US and on Global in Canada this Fall ’07.
