    “I’ve only been here for 24 hours, and so I haven’t had a chance to get that much feedback,” Karpluk said, looking visibly relaxed. “But the little I have, it’s been the same. The feedback is that the premise is very relatable. Regardless of your age, your race, your gender, wherever you’re at, I think that everyone can identify with (revisiting) the past, and that makes it universal in a way. So, while it is Canadian, it’s doing well internationally. I think it’s been picked up in something like 30 countries abroad. So, I’m blown away. Kessler must protect his ex-wife’s lover from a deadly Mexican drug cartel.

A kingpin in Mexico’s Los Zetas drug cartel is en route to Toronto to meet his new distributors – the ultraviolent street gang, MS-13. Ramon Esteban – the new flame of Kessler’s ex-wife Terri – is a Mexican journalist whose articles on Los Zetas have put him on the cartel’s hit list. When Kessler, Carver, and Gray attempt to transfer Ramon from Terri’s shelter into protective custody, MS-13 launches an all-out attack. Kessler must fight back with an unlikely team of warriors.
