    “TV series lead actors were Maple Ridge’s Tyler Labine for the U.S. comedy Reaper, and jPod’s Emile Ullerup. Best guest actors were Ryan Robbins and Babz Chula, both for episodes of jPod. Best supporting actors were Jody Racicot of Flash Gordon and Julie Patzwald of The Guard.” Read more.

    “jPod, which has been cancelled by CBC, picked up four Leos, including best guest performance by a female for Babz Chula. Chula has cancer and was too ill to attend, but in an acceptance speech delivered by actor Ben Ratner, she said too many shows win awards after they’re cancelled.” Read more.

CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada’s Ron MacLean joins host Wendy Mesley to stick-handle Canada’s largest sports trivia event TEST THE NATION: SPORTS, bringing two hours of non-stop, wall-to-wall suspense—and fun—to CBC Television, Sunday, May 25, at 8 p.m.
