  “Shaftesbury Films, the producers of the hit comedy series Life with Derek and Family Channel, an Astral Media Television Network, partner on the new half-hour teen comedy series OVERRULED! Filming of the first 13 episodes runs until February 27 in Toronto. Commissioned by Family Channel, OVERRULED! is scheduled to air later this year on Family Channel in Canada and Disney Channel in the U.S.” Read more.

  “Canadian production house Fresh TV Inc. is in development with TELETOON Canada inc. and Nelvana – and has received a
  grant from the Canadian Television Fund – to develop a 6TEEN live-action feature film. The animated sitcom about six teens who work in a shopping mall is regularly a top-rated show with kids 6-11 and has been a staple of the network’s schedule for the past three years, with a total of 95 half hours ordered to date.” Read more.
