Two seasons, 16 episodes, 2000 wedding invitations, innumerable ouzos, a Las Vegas Stag, a fairytale wedding dress and one pain-in-the-ass donkey … all these and so much more have been leading to The Family Restaurant’s biggest moment to be shared in a one-hour special on Food Network December 4 at 9:30 pm ET.

“After months of anticipation, there was no way we could fit the quintessential traditional Greek wedding into a regular half-hour program,” says Executive Producer Margaret Mardirossian of Anaid Productions. “With all the emotion so close to the surface, we’re holding our breath along with the audience as the big day approaches.”

“Food Network viewers have fallen in love with the Psalios family and now they get the chance to join in a special hour-long celebration of Chris and Dina’s dream wedding on the island of Cyprus, “says Emily Morgan, VP Content, Food Network and FINE LIVING . “It is an hour filled with all the food, fun and family drama that we have come to expect from The Family Restaurant.”

The one-hour season finale is edited by Sophie Mardirossian, Gemini Award nominee for The Family Restaurant.

Encore presentations of The Family Restaurant one hour special will air Monday, December 4 at 1:30 am ET, Thursday December 7 at 10:30 pm ET and Sunday, December 10 at 2:30pm ET. This episode will pre-empt I Do Let’s Eat for this occasion only.
