  • CBC’s jPod show is ‘extra’ special for Abbotsford family
    “Executive producer J.B. Sugar expects the TV series to be a hit. ‘We’re hoping the success of the book will translate to the screen and more,’ he told the Abbotsford News, taking a break between scenes. ‘It’s become its own animal now. I mean, it’s evolved a bit but he’s (Coupland) one of the head writers on the show and he’s here every day collaborating on every script and production-related issue.'” Read more.

    “Douglas Coupland is playing games with producers Larry Sugar and J.B. Sugar. The author of Generation X, Souvenir of Canada and Everything’s Gone Green is exec producing the adaptation of his game-themed novel JPod with the father and son principals of No Equal Entertainment for CBC and, according to J.B. Sugar, a web component may also be in the works.”
