  1. What a relief to have Murdoch back again, and in a new series at that. Saw a dreadful show called Murdoch Mysteries set in England, characters all wrong….This is a Canadian show I am happy to watch, and even proud to recommend to others . Go,. Murdoch (and the rest of the cast, too)!

  2. That just makes no sense. there is no British Murdoch Mysteries in England besides the canadian version. Unless you’re talking about the first 3 tv movies that gave birth to this version. But even then, it’s still shafterbury which produced, the only difference is the actors and the fact it’s a much lighter fare than the one with Peter outerbridge and Keeley Hawes.

  3. I was absolutely thrilled to have Murdoch Myesteries back on the air. I have not missed one episode including the original TV movie. The writing is great. The actors are great, with enough whit to make it comical where it is needed.
Looking at the city where I was born and where my whole family lived at that time is quite enjoyable. I hope this series continues for a very long time. It is quite refreshing.
    Go Murdoch Mysteries Go.

  4. I’m soooooo ticked! I looked on the TV Guide online and it didn’t say that the episode on Sunday was new so I didn’t watch it!!!!! Now I’ve missed the premiere. Ahhhh!

  5. I disagree with the first comment about the first three movies of the week. They were amazing and Bravo television broke their ratings record for the third one, Under The Dragons Tail. The success of those movies of the week created the demand for the television series.
While different in tone, both shows have their strengths and Peter Outerbridge was just outstanding as Murdoch as is Yannick Bisson
