CBC announces returning shows

DESPITE CHALLENGES, CBC TV ANNOUNCES A STRONG ROSTER OF CANADIAN SHOWS FOR THE 2012-13 SEASON

New programming includes MURDOCH MYSTERIES, produced by Shaftesbury Films; crime drama CRACKED produced by White Pine Pictures; historical drama TITANIC: BLOOD AND STEEL from the De Angelis Group (and the team behind CAMELOT and THE TUDORS) and OVER THE RAINBOW – the live competition search for theatre’s newest Dorothy produced by Temple Street Productions in association with Mirvish Productions.

The list of returning prime time shows is:

  1. Confusing how a show like Mr. D gets renewed but Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays does not.

I like Mr. D as much as the next guy, but it’s not even in the same league or the same universe as Michael.

  2. Actually I’m quite disdainful of Canadian television and often find it a waste of my time but Mr. D is one of the more entertaining ones that I’v seen in a while.
