“Montreal actor David Julian Hirsh has a theory about Canadian stars-in-waiting: The best way to make it here is by making it somewhere else first. ‘I get hired in Canada because I’m in Los Angeles,’ said Hirsh, who starred in the Showcase series Naked Josh for three seasons before landing the role of Jake in the CBC mini-series St. Urbain’s Horseman.” Read more.
