PEACE POINT’S FOOD JAMMERS STRIKES GOLD AT THE 41ST ANNUAL WORLDFEST-HOUSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Les Tomlin, President and Executive Producer of Peace Point Entertainment Group is delighted to announce today that the company’s Food Jammers series (Season II) was honored this past week with a Gold Award at the 41st annual WorldFest Film Festival held in Houston, TX. This is the third year in a row that Food Jammers has been honored at WorldFest, having previously won Silver (’07) and Bronze (’06). The series is currently in production on it’s third season set to air this fall on Canada’s Food Network. The series is also broadcast in Italy (RAI), Brazil (Globosat), Australia (XYZ) and Thailand (UBC).
“I’m so thrilled that Food Jammers continues to receive recognition by the WorldFest judges. In 2006/07 we built upon our success with the Food Jammer hosts and premiered a new series, Invention Nation for the (Discovery-owned) Science Network in the US,” says Tomlin.
Peace Point has now won a total of 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 4 Bronze awards won over the past four years at Worldfest.
Food Jammers is hosted by three everyday guys, Nobu Adilman, Micah Donovan and Chris Martin, whose real friendships and creative pursuits shine through and appeal to audiences to such a degree that it’s become one of the most original new TV shows in years.
