CTV announced today that production is underway in Toronto on STAY WITH ME, pilot for a new legal drama starring Ontario-native Andrea Roth (BLUE BLOODS, RESCUE ME). The pilot is produced and written by the Gemini award-winning producing team Suzette Couture and Pierre Sarrazin (DOOMSTOWN, THE MAN WHO LOST HIMSELF). Production continues through July 26. The announcement comes as production wraps in Toronto and new cast members are confirmed for another new CTV pilot, SAVING HOPE.

STAY WITH ME is a witty and entertaining drama following a sexy mother of two, Rowan Ellison (Andrea Roth), as she embarks on a journey of reinvention as a junior at a top Toronto law firm. Battling competitive younger associates, Rowan rediscovers life after marriage while calling upon her mother’s intuition to help her rescue her clients. Roth stars alongside well-known actors Helene Joy (DURHAM COUNTY), Torrance Coombs (THE TUDORS), Peter Stebbings (THE LISTENER) and Eli Goree (FLASHPOINT), among others. The director is Tim Southam (HOUSE, BONES).

Following the announcement that SMALLVILLE’s Erica Durance is starring in another new pilot SAVING HOPE, CTV can now confirm additional cast members for the production. Joining Durance in the pilot are Michael Shanks (SMALLVILLE, ENDGAME), Daniel Gillies (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES), Huse Madhavji (COMBAT HOSPITAL, STAR DAILY), Julia Taylor-Ross (ROOKIE BLUE), and Kristopher Turner (ROOKIE BLUE, THE LISTENER).

A sexy, fast-paced drama set in a Toronto hospital and produced by acclaimed Gemini award-winning producers Ilana Frank and David Wellington (THE ELEVENTH HOUR, OF MURDER AND MEMORY, ROOKIE BLUE) and written by Morwyn Brebner (ROOKIE BLUE) and Malcolm MacRury (LIVES OF THE SAINTS), production recently wrapped on the pilot in Toronto. David Wellington is also the director. In the high-stakes medical drama, whip-smart and beautiful Dr. Alex Reid (Durance) and the doctors at Hope-Zion heal patients while they struggle with life’s big questions — and with Hope-Zion’s diminishing resources.
