This reality show makes up for the monumental stupidity of shows like Keeping Up with The Kardashians. Gastown Gamble premieres on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network Wednesday. Cameras went behind the scenes last year as owners Mark and Nico Brand struggled to reopen Gastown’s iconic Save-On-Meats. No ordinary butcher shop and diner, the business serves the hybrid neighbourhood of the very poor and the condo class. Read more.
