Switch on your Christmas cheer with the 22 Minutes Holiday Special, featuring guest appearances from original cast members, Mary Walsh and Greg Thomey. Also in this episode, the Real Housewives of Town reveal their Secret Santa secrets, Barry Weiss does his Christmas shopping Storage Wars-style, famous Canadian actor, Gordon Pinsent joins the Three Wise Men for a gift-seeking pilgrimage at the mall, and the classic holiday story, The Hockey Sweater, gets a rewrite. The Queen (Cathy Jones) and Canadian premiers from coast-to-coast-to-coast join the 22 Minutes cast for holiday fun during this hour-long special episode.

The Ron James New Year’s Eve Special is back and one of the country’s favourite annual traditions continues with “Canada’s Comedian” sending 2012 off in style! As in 2013, Ron vows “never to listen to a Mayan again” and makes a few startling predictions of his own for the year ahead. The Royal Family has been especially ‘visible’ in 2012 and in her annual message to the Queen, Aunt Vivien isn’t afraid to tell the naked truth. Conservative Radio show host, Buell Crawford, gets hot under the collar over all this climate change baloney. Special guests include: Linda Kash, Patrick McKenna, Raoul Bhaneja and Lauren Ash.

GEORGE STROUMBOULOPOULOS TONIGHT

Ring in New Year’s Eve with a special edition of George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight as George wraps up 2012 with Canadian actor, author, producer and activist Michael J. Fox. In this candid and funny exclusive interview, Fox talks about how he has dealt with Parkinson’s disease and about the unwavering support of his wife, actor Tracy Pollan. He also reveals details about his upcoming TV comedy series, in which he plays a man dealing with family, career and Parkinson’s. Plus: Ed The Sock helps ring in the New Year with resolutions and predictions on the fast, furious and funny comedy panel.
