marblemedia’s Hit Series Splatalot Greenlit for Season Two
marblemedia today announced that its hit tween series Splatalot has been greenlit for a second season (26 x 30′ episodes). The TV series has been renewed by YTV in Canada, CBBC in the UK, ABC3 in Australia and a version will be dubbed into French for TÉLÉTOON (French Canada). The series is set to start shooting this summer at marble’s studios north of Toronto.
Splatalot is a hilarious medieval-themed physical game show for tweens featuring a larger-than-life extreme obstacle course with more splats and spills than ever imaginable. For season two, the Splatalot design team is expanding the set and creating new obstacles that are sure to result in epic falls and a ton of laughs.
“We’re thrilled to be working on another season of Splatalot with our extremely supportive broadcast partners,” says Matt Hornburg, the show’s Co-Creator and Partner at marblemedia. “The series has enjoyed very strong ratings in all markets and has established itself as a top show for tweens and co-view audiences.”
