Life With Boys premieres March 19 on YTV

LifeWithboys

From a media release:

YTV rolls out Life with Boys Season 2 during March Break celebration: New season premieres on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Corus Entertainment’s YTV is launching Season 2 of its highly successful live-action comedy series Life with Boys beginning on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. Produced by Nelvana Studio, the 18 x 30-minute season promises fans even more laughs and chaos among the returning characters as well as appearances by special guest stars including Brendan Meyer (Mr. Young), singer Victoria Duffield, and The Next Star’s Brooklyn Roebuck and Darren Espanto.

Torri Webster reprises the role of Tess Foster, the only teenage girl living in an all-male household, navigating the turmoil of teen life with her best friend Allie (Madison Pettis) right by her side. Together they manage their way through the ups and downs of life at home and school. In new second season episodes Tess and Allie decide to take a part-time job washing dogs, Tess and Gabe spontaneously team up as a musical duo and the whole family auditions for a dance contest.

Leading up to the launch, YTV viewers had a sneak peek of the new season with three Life with Boys specials for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day that whet the appetite for regular Season 2 episodes to begin.

Other returning cast members on the series include: Nathan McLeod as Tess’ heartthrob older brother Gabe, Michael Murphy as her studious twin brother Sam, Jake Goodman as younger brother Spencer and Sandy Jobin-Bevans as her well-meaning father Jack.

In the premiere episode airing on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m., the kids are thrilled to learn that Vice Principal Vitolo, the school’s top enforcer of student conduct, is resigning, but their elation turns to fear when they overhear their father, Jack on the phone being offered the job. Considering this a terrible alternative that will render them social pariahs, Tess organizes a plan to make Jack realize how much he loves being the gym teacher, so we won’t take the new position. Jack catches on and confronts them, only to learn that the kids were laboring under a misconception. He was offered the job as VP at Pineview High School. The kids are all relieved, except Tess, who realizes her problem has just gotten worse, because with Dad leaving their school she will no longer have him as her wrestling coach.

Life with Boys is created by Michael Poryes (Hannah Montana,That’s So Raven) and executive produced by Douglas Lieblein (Hannah Montana) and Tracey Dodokin (Detentionaire, Scaredy Squirrel). The series is produced by Nelvana Studio and Steven Bawol’s Helion Pictures.
