From a media release:

Mr.D is Heading Back to School for Season 3

Topsail Productions and Gerard ADHD Entertainment in association with CBC are pleased to announce the production of Mr. D, Season 3 has commenced in various locations in Halifax, NS. The series stars Gerry Dee who was honoured by the inaugural Canadian Screen Awards this year with the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Comedic Role.

School’s in! It’s Gerry Duncan’s third year at Xavier Academy and he is determined to finally land his dream job: gym teacher. Mr. D may get his chance, but for now he’ll have to continue to fake his way through social studies and all kinds of subjects that he knows nothing about. But what Mr. D lacks in knowledge he makes up for in heart; he doesn’t teach by the book and sometimes that approach works…by accident. Amidst our beloved oddball cast of teachers and staff, Mr. D struggles to stay one step ahead of his students. Teach hard!

Mr. D was created by Gerry Dee and Michael Volpe and stars Gerry Dee, Jonathan Torrens, Lauren Hammersley, Booth Savage, Bette McDonald, Naomi Snieckus, Darrin Rose, Mark Little, Mark Forward and Wes Williams.
