    “Two Canadian programs broke into the Top 20 list for the first time: So You Think You Can Dance Canada (No. 14, with 1.4 million viewers), and Flashpoint (No. 18, with 1.3 million). Corner Gas drew more than a million viewers a week as well, for its swan-song season. Corner Gas is now closed, but So You Think You Can Dance Canada and Flashpoint are expected to return.” Read more.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA Delivers Highest Audience of Season with 1.4 Million Viewers on CTV

  • More than 3 million viewers tune in to some part of first performance episode of season
  • The excitement continues tonight with first live results show at 7:30 p.m. E.T.

CTV’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA achieved its biggest audience of the season last night with the first performance show of the year. The two-hour episode was watched on average by nearly 1.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched program of the night on Canadian television. The audience grew throughout the broadcast, peaking with 1.7 million viewers at 9:49 p.m. Up 17% over Sunday’s Special Top 20 reveal episode, more than 3.3 million viewers tuned in to some or all of the broadcast.
