Get Stuffed and The Liquidator premiere on OLN in July

From a media release:

Uncensored, Unscripted, and Outrageous: Two New Original Series Get Stuffed and The Liquidator Premiere on OLN, Beginning July 3

  • Four, trash-talking competitors face off in bizarre competitions around North America in Get Stuffed, July 3
  • Master haggler and trader Jeff Schwarz wheels and deals his way to becoming the liquidation king in The Liquidator, July 5

Plunging viewers into outrageous, real-life stories of competition, chance, the hunt and the conquest, OLN dares viewers to take the challenge with two new original series that make their debut the first week of July.
Get Stuffed premieres Tuesday, July 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, inviting viewers into the bizarre and thrilling world of wacky international competitions.  Moving into the fast-paced, high-stakes, buy-and-sell world, The Liquidator premieres Thursday, July 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, starring Jeff Schwarz – owner of one of the biggest liquidation houses west of the Rockies.

Airing regularly every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OLN, original series Get Stuffed follows competitors Erin Simms, Josh Rice, Ryan “6 Pack” Lapadat and Kalyn Miles as they test their limits on strength, endurance and tolerance in the strangest ways possible. Each week, two of the four brave individuals battle it out in the world’s most outlandish competitions. From chicken beauty pageants in Alabama to greased pig racing in Quebec, this 13-episode, 30-minute series takes viewers where no viewer has gone before. In addition to training for each competition, the competitors have placed an edible side bet, tasking a local chef to help them prepare an unforgettable punishing delight for the loser. From a pig’s ear sandwich to the aptly named ‘Quadruple Bypass Burger,’ no plate goes unturned in the search for the best punishment meal.

In the Get Stuffed series premiere “Ostrich Races,” contestants Kalyn and Erin travel to Chandler, Arizona to compete against one another in the Ostriches Races. Feathers fly when the competitors realize how hard it is to balance on a 250 lb bird at 70 km per hour with no saddle or harness. The winner will get the glory, and the loser will Get Stuffed.

Every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, delve into the high-stakes world of buying and selling as The Liquidator introduces viewers to the unique life of haggler, trader and owner of Vancouver’s largest liquidation store, Jeff Schwarz. When it comes to moving discarded merchandise, Schwarz has done it all. Setting his sights on the big-time deal, he’s trading up to become the “Liquidation King,” living out his mission of buying low, selling high, and keeping the merchandise moving. Each 13-part, 30-minnute episode shows a day in the life of Schwarz – from getting the tip and checking out the goods, to making the deal, finding a buyer, and watching the dollar signs soar or sink.

In the series premiere “Bricks and Mortals,” Schwarz finds treasure in a trash heap as he picks through the remains of a heavy duty diesel shop. From power tools to forklifts, Schwarz has hit the motherload and decides the best way to sell and make a big profit is through an auction.

Love It or List It expands to Vancouver

From a media release:

W Network’s Top Rated Series Love It or List It Expands to Vancouver: Designer Jillian Harris to Co-Host

Corus Entertainment’s W Network announced today that interior designer and TV personality, Jillian Harris (The Bachelorette Season V, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) will co-host Love It or List It Vancouver. Harris’ co-host will be announced at a later date. Produced by Big Coat Productions in association with W Network, the west coast spin-off of W Network’s hit series Love It or List It starring Hilary Farr and David Visentin has been greenlit and is scheduled to launch in winter 2013.

Love It or List It Vancouver will showcase families in B.C.’s largest metropolitan city who are struggling with homes that no longer suit their needs. It’s up to Jillian to put a stop to the wandering eyes of our homeowners, armed with a list of “must-haves” and a design she hopes will persuade them to stay. Meanwhile, the realtor is determined to get homeowners to relocate by taking the homeowners list of “must-haves” and finding them new digs.

Set in one of Canada’s largest real estate markets, the beautiful Pacific west coast, every episode will take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster as Jillian and her soon–to-be announced co-host implement their plans to battle it out for the homeowners’ allegiance. With renovation there are always setbacks and sometimes it means the homeowners must lose one of their “must- haves” on their list to stay. On the realtor’s end, finding everything the homeowners want in their dream home can be more difficult than originally anticipated. The stakes are high as the homeowners weigh in on the financial and emotional decisions of buying a new home or staying in the renovated one.
