FRESH TV INC. AND BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT DEVELOPING NEW LIVE ACTION SERIES FOR YOUNG ADULTS

Fresh TV Inc. and BLUEPRINT ENTERTAINMENT have teamed up to co-produce a new live-action series with animated elements about the hilarious ups and challenging downs of being a teenager. In Maya’s Opinion centers on the life of an overly-imaginative teenaged girl and is the first time Fresh TV and BLUEPRINT have collaborated. The show is currently in development with Corus Entertainment’s YTV.

The Ocean Room picked up

Sinking Ship Entertainment is pleased to announce that TVO, ACCESS Alberta and The Knowledge Network have picked-up the second season of the reality pre-school series “The Jungle Room” with a title change to “The Ocean Room” to reflect the theme of season two. Produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment, the series tracks the day-to-day lives of several preschoolers to reveal the true world of childhood. Season two – with 26 eleven-minute episodes – will begin production in spring 2009 for a fall 2009 premiere.

“Our goal at Sinking Ship has always been to reflect authentically the fascinating inner world of kids” says J.J. Johnson, Co-Creator and Producer, “The Ocean Room”. “This program is our closest yet to reveal the true highs and lows, laughs and tears of what it’s like to be a preschooler.”

Stratusphere comes to CTV

Stratusphere, the new exotic adventure series featuring former seven-time WWE champion Trish Stratus, airs on CTV in a travel + escape programmed time slot beginning Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ET/PT, following the successful series premiere on travel + escape. A selection of five episodes from the 10-part series will air on CTV.

In search of the most amazing locations and most daring physical challenges, join Stratus as she travels the globe tackling new challenges from glima wrestling in Iceland to muay thai boxing in Thailand. The series currently airs on travel + escape Monday’s at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT. Episodes are also available to watch online at www.travelandescape.ca.
