  • Mr. ‘Dee’ returns to his former school
    As the star of a popular sitcom about a hapless teacher, Toronto comedian Gerry Dee returned to the midtown Toronto school that helped shape his current show. Dee both studied and taught at De La Salle College before embarking on a successful career as a stand-up comedian. On Wednesday, Feb. 29, he dropped by the midtown school and addressed the students before screening an upcoming episode of his CBC show. Read more.

    If you’re a big Mike Cammalleri fan and miss watching him play regularly on TV with the Canadiens, you can catch him on television in a new role on March 5. Cammalleri, who was traded to the Calgary Flames this season, will make a guest appearance as an actor on the CBC TV comedy Mr. D on that night. Read more.
