- Episode Six Airs Wednesday, July 4th at 8:00pm on Citytv
Top Photographer and “America’s Next Top Model” Judge, Nigel Barker, Guest Stars on Episode Six of “Canada’s Next Top Model,†airing Wednesday, July 4th at 8:00pm on Citytv.
To the girls’ delight, Nigel Barker makes a guest appearance as the photographer for their toughest photo shoot yet. Not only do the remaining models have to deal with their nerves while working with a ‘celebrity’ photographer, they must also keep their cool when he invites them to dinner, proving extremely tough for one very, star-struck finalist!
Born in London, Nigel Barker was introduced to the fashion industry when he appeared on “The Clothes Showâ€, a televised model search in England. This launched his successful career in modelling, which took him all over the world working for Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gaultier, Kenzo, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren. After a decade in front of the camera, Barker followed his dream to become a photographer and moved behind the camera. By 1996, Barker had launched his own photo studio, Studio NB, in Manhattan’s fashionable meat packing district. Barker’s work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including Oyster, Interview, Paper Mag, (t)here, Black & White, Instinct, Zink, Angeleno and Playboy, among others.

One’s first step in wisdom is to kuesteon everything – and one’s last is to come to terms with everything.
Armani has always been a favorite designer of mine. It seems the best ones always come from Italy!
