In the news: Flashpoint ratings exceed expectations

  1. I love this show. I HOPE CBS stops moving it around or the viewers will get disgusted. I’m not even sure what night it IS on now. Thursdays, I think.

  2. Yes, it’s on Thursdays. Which has been beneficial to it, as it’s gotten a bump up in the ratings due to the lead-in from CSI.

The bad news, however, is that it appears that the August 21st episode might be the last one for a while. The Futon Critic is listing it as “last episode before hiatus”. The following two weeks, CBS is covering the Democratic and Republican Conventions.

The fall series scheduled for that timeslot, “Eleventh Hour”, however, isn’t starting until October 9th, so it’s possible that we might get some more episodes between Sep 11 and Oct 9. I suspect, however, that CBS will hold remaining episodes to use as a replacement for any new fall series that fails.

I’ve no idea what CTV has in mind, but they do seem to be following CBS’s lead when it comes to this show.
