She wants to live the glamourous life, but for overworked and underappreciated TV producer Parker Kovak (voiced by Kristin Booth), reality is anything but. Premiering Friday, April 8th at 7:30 pm ET/PT exclusively on TVTropolis, Season Two of Producing Parker takes this irreverent animated comedy series to hilarious new heights as Parker struggles to keep her life together amidst the chaos of working for a successful daytime talk show.

Starring Kim Cattrall, recipient of a Gemini Award for her role on Season One of Producing Parker, as the voice of diva talk show host Dee, along with a roster of returning character favourites, Season Two will also feature the voice talents of Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz, Beverly Hills 90210) as Parker’s high school bully, Catherine O’Hara (Best in Show) as Parker’s cumbersome Mother and Mark McKinney (Kids in the Hall) as Parker’s new boss.

“I’m having a terrific time playing Dee,” commented Kim Cattrall. “I’ve always wanted to be part of an animated series.

In Season Two, while Parker continues to balance the demands of her boss and her off-kilter production crew with the show’s outrageous segments and guests, Dee sets off on her own journey as she lands the show in jail, goes to rehab, and finally climbs the ratings charts to number one. Meanwhile, Parker has challenges of her own as she continues to fall for all the wrong guys including a radical environmentalist, her high school bully, a ghost, and, as always, dreamy network head, Blake Bellamy.

In the Season Two premiere, “Bully for Parker”, Parker puts Simon in charge of his first story and learns to never do that again when she becomes the focus of his segment and is forced to confront her high school bully, Tyler Van Bustle (voiced by guest star Jason Priestley), live on The Dee Show. Dee learns that she can be a bit a bully when Russell confronts her about her behaviour.

Along with Parker and the self-absorbed, high-maintenance Dee, “The Dee Show’s” colourful cast of characters include; resident copywriter and aspiring journalist, Simon (Aaron Abrams); sexy and under-qualified intern, Chicago (Sarah Cornell); and the charismatic and dreamy station owner, Blake Bellamy (Peter Keleghan). Parker’s life also includes her best friend and loyal sidekick, her dog Massimo (Jamie Watson), who manages to keep her grounded and provides her with much needed domestic support.

Producing Parker is a co-production between Breakthrough Entertainment and Philippine Animation Studio in association with Shaw Media. Created, written, story edited, and executive produced by Laura Kosterski; executive produced by Ira Levy and Peter Williamson; and story edited and produced by Christin Simms, Producing Parker is a part of Breakthrough’s acclaimed primetime comedy slate, which also includes Less Than Kind, Single White Spenny and Crash Canyon.
