Robert Carli divides his time between playing the saxophone and composing music for films and TV. His scores have earned him a number of awards, including five Gemini Awards and three Canadian Screen Awards. Recently, he completed work on season 11 of Murdoch Mysteries and is about to embark on the third season of SyFy network’s cult hit Wynonna Earp. He performs regularly as saxophonist with a number of ensembles, including the Toronto Symphony, the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, and The Art of Time Ensemble.

TV Eh B Cs podcast 75 — Uncovering Lachlan Murdoch’s Mysteries

Lachlan Murdoch was born in Vancouver, British Columbia into a family of performers. His first-ever job came when he was but two years old; cast in a commercial for “Fisher Price Baby Shampoo.”

He worked steadily as a child in many different productions including fan favourite episodes of The X Files, The Outer Limits and Stargate SG-1. Other notable appearances include Kids in the Hall’s Brain Candy and FX’s highly acclaimed movie Sins of the Father, where Lachlan would meet many future key crew members of Murdoch Mysteries.

Lachlan moved to Toronto permanently in 2002, where he finished school and went on to win his role as Henry Higgins on CBC’s massively popular Murdoch Mysteries.

TV Eh B Cs podcast 74 — A Stern Reflection

Born on Friday the 13th, 1989 in Toronto, Evan Stern is known for his work in RoboCop. Stern was most recently seen in a supporting role in the feature film The Void and currently plays Roald in the CraveTV original series Letterkenny. A graduate of Queen’s University, he spent his first year at The Bader International Study Centre, Herstmonceux Castle in the United Kingdom. Stern completed a four-year program in Drama Studies, receiving his B.A. (Hons.) in 2011.

Stern hosts a podcast called Sleep Tight Fcker, where he and his friends watch and discuss horror movies.
