Interview: Tassie Cameron of Rookie Blue

From Adam Wright of TV Done Wright:

  • Rookie Blue EP Tassie Cameron on Season Two “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing”
I don’t know if there’s really been a shift away from procedurals. NCIS, The Mentalist, CSI — aren’t those shows still in the top ten most weeks? I think, in our case, we were presenting procedural cases, but from a very different, fresh perspective that resonated with people: our guys aren’t super-cops, they’re newbies, they’re making mistakes, they’re learning on the job. Missy Peregrym of Rookie Blue

From Kat Angus of Dose:

  • Rookie Blue Returns for Season 2

How many dresses am I supposed to have? Who made up that rule?” Read more.

Rookie Blue, Combat Hospital make good summer fare

From Bill Harris of QMI Agency:

  • ‘Rookie’, ‘Combat’ fill summer void
Three parts characters, two parts romance, one part action and a pinch of frivolity. If only it were that easy. The truth is, there never has been a reliable recipe for good summer fare on TV. Whatever the reason for the steamy season, some shows taste right, while others just don’t. Combat Hospital and Rookie Blue fall on the savoury side of that summer-fare plate. Read more.
