Green light for Connor Undercover

HEROIC FILM COMPANY GOES UNDERCOVER WITH SHAFTESBURY FILMS FOR NEW KIDS LIVE-ACTION SERIES

  • Connor Undercover Green Lit For Commissioning Broadcaster Family Channel

Heroic Film Company announced today that it has secured the green light for live-action tween comedy series, Connor Undercover. Astral Media’s Family Channel (Canada) has commissioned 13 half-hour episodes of the program, which is being co-produced with Shaftesbury Films. Scheduled to air on Family Channel in 2010, the series is currently in production. Connor Undercover made its MIPCOM debut as a multi-platform project with interactive content to support the show developed by Heroic Film Company Partner, Karen Lee Hall. Additionally, each episode will feature one original song with a corresponding music video showcasing cast member Jordan Francis.

Canwest commissions 4 new drama pilots

Building on that pedigree, the broadcaster announced the commissioning of four new drama pilots today.
