  • #1 in timeslot, #1 in metered markets
  • CTV’s all-Canadian, non-simulcast primetime lineup leads competition by 60%
  • Dance fever continues tonight with highlights from the Vancouver and Saint John auditions

CTV’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA is #1 once again. The second season debut of the homegrown urban sensation won the night in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary Tuesday*, while winning its timeslot (8-10 p.m.) nationally as well. Peaking with more than 1.3 million viewers, the two-hour premiere was watched on average by 1.08 million viewers. Nearly three million viewers watched some or all of the broadcast.

8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE CANADA – ALL-NEW TWO-HOUR EPISODE

The cross-country search for Canada’s favourite dancer continues at the Vancouver and Saint John auditions. Permanent judges Jean Marc Genereux and Tré Armstrong and special guest judges Luther Brown and Mary Murphy weigh in on the dancing hopefuls in Vancouver. Jean Marc and Tré are joined by Melissa Williams – who has choreographed for Prince and Bryan Adams – and guest judge/choreographer Sean Cheesman (who has worked with Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and the late Michael Jackson), from the U.S. series, to help fill out the panel in Saint John.
