Photo gallery: Dark Matter Season 2 images unveiled

The Raza crew is ready to take flight, and we’re sharing some gorgeous gallery pics of the cast ahead of Dark Matter‘s Season 2 debut Friday, July 1, at 10 p.m. ET on Space.

Here’s what the network says will happen in the premiere episode:

“In ‘Welcome To Your New Home,’ the crew of the Raza have been betrayed by one of their own, with a motivation that questions everyone’s loyalties. The rest of the crew find themselves incarcerated in the notorious Hyperion-8 Detention Facility where they must deal with dangerous fellow inmates a corrupt Warden, and corporate agenda that threatens their lives.”

As previously announced, joining the series this season is Melanie Liburd as Nyx, an ex-con with killer instincts; Shaun Sipos as a world-class surgeon with a dark past; and Franka Potente, who guest-stars as Commander Shaddock, a cool, calculated force of nature who’s hell-bent on making things difficult for the Raza crew.

Space announces fifth and final season of original thriller Orphan Black

Space announced today the renewal of the fifth and final season of critically-acclaimed original series, ORPHAN BLACK. The clone conspiracy thriller sees the return of the award-winning Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany in her multiple versatile roles as the clone sisters. An additional 10, one-hour episodes are set to air in 2017 on Space. The Season 4 finale of the Peabody-winning series airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET on Space, followed by the finale of fan-favourite insider series, AFTER THE BLACK. The first three seasons of ORPHAN BLACK are streaming now on CraveTVTM.

In the Season 4 finale of ORPHAN BLACK “From Dancing Mice to Psychopaths” (June 16 at 10 p.m. ET), when communication with Cosima is cut off and Neolution appears to be within striking distance, Sarah’s alliance with Rachel goes out the window. Video: First-look at Killjoys and Dark Matter Season 2

Space unveiled earlier today a First-Look promo from Season 2 of its highest-rated Original series KILLJOYS. The action-packed spot sees the return of the kick-ass bounty hunter trio Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen), Johnny (Aaron Ashmore), and D’avin (Luke Macfarlane).

As previously announced, Season 2 of KILLJOYS premieres Friday, July 1 at 9 p.m. ET on Space.

In the Season 2 premiere of KILLJOYS, “Dutch And The Real Girl” (Friday, July 1 at 9 p.m. ET on Space) after failing to rescue D’avin from Arkyn, Dutch and Johnny head to Eulogy, an outlaw-only barter town, in the hopes of stealing a mysterious, high tech shield from the infamous Connaver gang.

Donnie steals the spotlight on Orphan Black

Yes, I know Season 4 of Orphan Black has (so far) been the quest to find out what the cheek bots are, what they do and how to remove them. We’ve been introduced to M.K. (there’s a killer reveal this week regarding her past), gotten great flashbacks to Beth’s story and have witnessed some truly inspired crafting from Helena. But Donnie has been kicking some major butt so far this season. Maybe it’s because we need someone like Donnie to inject some levity into a series full of science and drama, but some of Kristian Bruun’s best stuff is part of Thursday’s new episode, “From Instinct to Rational Control.”

An all-too-brief scene features Donnie explaining the struggles he and Alison had as they tried to conceive. It’s a tender moment between two characters who are usually providing laughs, like last week’s chat with the police officers.

Donnie + Felix = Orphan Black‘s new power couple?
The investigation into Trina’s pregnancy is thrust forward thanks to Felix and Donnie going deep undercover at Lifespring Fertility. Alison can’t go in because Beth already did, so it’s up to the two boys … who pretend to be a couple. Again, Donnie provides the chuckles, especially when it comes time for him to provide a sample to the Lifespring staff and calls on Alison for some help. Also? I’d definitely watch a spinoff series named Douglas & Julian.

Orphan Black airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Space.
