TV Eh B Cs podcast 67 — The Tim Rozon Entree

Tim Rozon’s first major role was playing heartthrob, Tommy Quincy, opposite Alexz Johnson and Laura Vandervoort for four seasons on the teen drama series Instant Star for TeenNick and CTV. Other leading roles include two seasons playing Mutt Schitt on CBC’s runaway comedy Schitt’s Creek.

Tim has made guest appearances on many of the hit shows made in Canada over the last decade, including: Rookie Blue, Flashpoint, Heartland, Lost Girl and 19-2. In addition to acting, Tim produced the documentary feature Shuckers, about the world of oysters and those who shuck them.

When not acting, Tim plays the role of restaurateur in Montreal at his hit restaurants Garde Manger and Le Bremner opposite star chef Chuck Hughes.

Jennica Harper is a Vancouver-based TV writer/producer. Recent credits include Season 2 of Cardinal for CTV, the ABC thriller Somewhere Between and the fourth and final season of Motive. Jennica also wrote and produced on the hit kids comedies Some Assembly Required for YTV and Netflix for which she won a WGC Screenwriting Award, and Mr. Young for YTV and Disney XD.

TV Eh B Cs podcast 65 — Exploring the Frontier with Lisa Rose Snow

Lisa Rose Snow is an award-winning filmmaker and performer who was raised by the ocean and now resides in Toronto. Since graduating from the Canadian Film Centre’s Writers’ Lab and participating in the Reykjavik Film Festival’s Talent Lab, she has been busy working in television writing rooms on Frontier (Netflix), Ten Days in the Valley (ABC) and Little Dog (CBC). Snow is currently co-writing an episode of The Stone Diaries which is in development with HalFire Entertainment, and working on developing two of her own series – Tongues and Over Easy.

In 2013, Snow won a Wave Award during WIFT Atlantic’s ‘Women Making Waves Conference’, the first time this award has ever been given to an emerging artist. She’s passionate about championing women and underrepresented voices on screen, and has been honoured to mentor under Sherry White, Tassie Cameron, Michelle Lovretta and Thom Fitzgerald.
